Headteacher's Welcome

Headteacher’s Welcome

A very warm welcome to Hardwick Primary School

Welcome to Hardwick Primary School, a place where children are known, nurtured and encouraged to shine. I am incredibly proud to have served as the Headteacher of our wonderful school since 2023-2024, leading the dedicated staff team who work every day to create a warm, inclusive and ambitious environment in which every child can thrive.

At Hardwick, we believe childhood should be joyful, curious and full of possibility. Alongside high expectations for lScreenshot 2025 12 19 123315earning, we place great importance on kindness, confidence and a sense of belonging. Our thoughtfully designed curriculum is broad, engaging and ambitious, carefully shaped by our Oxfordshire locality and our proximity to a nationally significant STEM area. This allows children to make meaningful connections to the world around them, discover their interests and begin to imagine the many paths their futures might take.

Our expansive grounds and varied indoor and outdoor learning spaces bring learning to life, offering children opportunities to explore, create and learn in different and exciting ways. Whether in the classroom, outdoors or through shared experiences, we aim to spark curiosity and develop a genuine love of learning that lasts well beyond primary school.

Hardwick Primary School sits at the heart of a caring and vibrant community. We value strong partnerships with parents and carers and warmly welcome families into school throughout the year to celebrate learning, achievements and special moments together. Our Adventures to Remember and Big Hearts initiatives reflect our promise to offer experiences beyond the National Curriculum, creating memories, confidence and life skills that children will carry with them into the future.

We are proud of the school Hardwick is today and excited about what lies ahead. If you would like to visit us, arrange a tour or find out more about our school, we would be delighted to welcome you.
